Here we go!! Taylor Swift has announced her next re-recorded album will be her 2012 release, Red.
It will, of course, be titled Red (Taylor’s Version) and will be expanded to 30 songs.
“This will be the first time you hear all 30 songs that were meant to go on Red,” she revealed. “And hey, one of them is even ten minutes long.”
Sharing the news to Instagram, Swift wrote, “Musically and lyrically, Red resembled a heartbroken person. It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end.
“Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tortured by memories past.”
“And I’m not sure if it was pouring my thoughts into this album, ” she continues. “Hearing thousands of your voices sing the lyrics back to me in passionate solidarity, or if it was simply time, but something was healed along the way.”
Taylor Swift’s 2012 album, Red was responsible for absolute tunes such as ’22’, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’, and ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’.
The re-release comes as part of Taylor Swift’s plan to re-record all her albums released under her previous label, Big Machine Records.
She shared a re-release of Fearless back in April. It came with a massive tracklist and new feature artists, Keith Urban and Colbie Caillat.
Red (Taylor’s Version) will arrive Friday, 19th November.
