Dua Lipa will make her acting debut in a new spy thriller titled Argylle, as reported by the Hollywood Reporter. The film will be an adaptation of a novel of the same name, but wildly, the novel hasn’t even been published yet.
As well as appearing as part of the cast — which is killer by the way – Dua Lipa will also prepare the movie’s theme song and will contribute to the score.
Is there anything she can’t do?
The cast is huge too. Catherine O’Hara, Samuel L. Jackson, Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, and John Cena are apparently all set to feature in the movie.
Mathew Vaughn will direct Argylle.
“When I read this early draft manuscript I felt it was the most incredible and original spy franchise since Ian Fleming’s books of the 50s,” said Vaughn of the novel.
“This is going to reinvent the spy genre.”
Dua Lipa’s most recent full-length release was 2020 album >Future Nostalgia. The British pop star also recently shared ‘CAN THEY HEAR US’.
‘CAN THEY HEAR US’ is a song taken from the Gully soundtrack. The 2019 film’s soundtrack also featured Ty Dolla $ign, Schoolboy Q, Miguel and Gary Clark, Jr.
